When he appeared in the semi-biographical film, “8 Mile,” in 2002, Eminem impressed many with his acting skills. But since then, he hasn’t returned Hollywood, and has said he didn’t have any immediate plans to.
Well, that’s all changing, because Eminem is now set to star in a 3D horror film called “Shady Talez,” produced by D.J. Classicz/Davis Entertainment, a genre partnership between “I, Robot” producer John Davis and writer-producer Dallas Jackson, reports ScreenDaily.com.
According to the site, the rapper will produce the project, which is “styled as ‘The Twilight Zone‘ meets ‘Creepshow. ”
Additionally, the film will be turned into a four-issue comic book, due to hit stores in 2010.
Further details regarding the film project are currently unknown.

Eminem will star in the 3D film Shady Talez, his first feature for seven years. The film will be produced by D.J. Classicz/Davis Entertainment, a genre partnership between I, Robot producer John Davis and writer-producer Dallas Jackson.
The performer, who previously starred in 2002’s 8 Mile, will produce the project, styled as The Twilight Zone meets Creepshow, alongside Davis, Jackson and Underworld story creator Kevin Grevioux, who is co-writing the screenplay with Jackson.
Shady Talez is also being turned into a four-issue comic book series due out in 2010 under the Marvel Icons imprint that Jackson and Grevioux are writing together.
D.J. Classicz / Davis Entertainment are building a slate of multicultural projects with global commercial appear and have hired market veteran James MacLean to establish ties with international buyers here. Domestically, the venture benefits from Davis’ first-look deal at Fox.
Jackson, who has set his re-write of the adventure comedy The Last Dragon with Samuel Jackson at Columbia, said he was also preparing The Little Homiez, a cross between Home Alone and The Rugrats.
Robert Townsend is set to direct with fast-rising child star Bobb’e J Thompson of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs attached.
The third title on the initial slate is Rhythm And Juliet, a martial arts take on Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy that Jackson wrote with Stomp The Yard writer Gregory Anderson, who will also produce.
